Grant Announcement
We’re offering two grants to assist a NYSALJA member in attending the conference. The two grants being offered are:
- a NAALJ/NYSALJA jointly-sponsored $500 grant and conference registration fee waiver; and
- a NYSALJA sponsored $500 grant.
Grant recipients must meet the following criteria:
- the recipient must be a current paid member of NYSALJA;
- the recipient must register for and attend the 2010 NAALJ Annual Meeting and Conference in Malibu, California; and
- the recipient must not have received a grant from NYSALJA or NAALJ in the last three years.
To be considered for the grants, please submit a written request to me (e-mail or fax), which must be received by 5:00 PM on Monday, August 16, 2010.
The two winners will be randomly drawn from the names submitted, and notified prior to the conference. The winner of the NAALJ/NYSALJA grant will receive reimbursement at the conference. The winner of the NYSALJA grant will be reimbursed $500 within approximately 2 weeks of receipt of proof of conference attendance.
